MUSIC PRODUCTION

I love the magical and alchemical journey of producing music and choosing the right instruments to convey the various desired moods and textures and how to create a rich and balanced range of frequencies. 

Since 1996 I have created, produced/co-produced and engineered albums, recorded live vocals, strings, guitars, flutes, bass, drums and other traditional, as well as unusual instruments and virtual instruments. I have mixing experience but prefer collaborating with some mixing engineers. I specialize in acoustic instruments and music of various genres but have also incorporated electronica in some of my productions.

I enjoy collaborating intimately with other artists and bands assisting them in the creative process including composition and arrangement. I see the challenge as a producer is to bring out the best from my clients.  

I am very open to any style of music and love fusing different elements, approaching each project as a unique creation without trying to replicate some kind of formula. I have a small portable home studio that can record almost anywhere, without compromising the quality and authenticity of the music.

 Hamsa-The Band

After many years of performing all over the world with my Israeli based band SHEVA, and after settling in Australia, HAMSA was created, together with my friend and Sheva co-founder Amir Paiss. We play an uplifting blend of Traditional Hebrew, Jewish, Klezmer mixed with Middle Eastern inspirations. The result is a high spirited combination of traditional and contemporary instruments and grooves.
